How to Grow Anise using seeds:

  • Anise seeds can be started indoors or placed directly in the ground
  • Prefers warm weather (spring/summer)
  • Sprouts in appx. 10-20 days in soil temps above 70F
  • Requires soil to be well drained (not soaking wet)
  • Requires FULL SUN (6+ hours of sun/day)
  • Seeds should be spaced 12" apart from each other
  • Cover the seeds with only 1/4" of soil
  • Water the plants lightly and make sure the soil is drains well
  • Will take about 60-70 days for it to achieve full maturity
